About this Event
Join Charlotte Inez and Laura Bales for a two-hour experience designed to support nervous system regulation through movement, breathwork, and trauma-informed touch.
We will begin with guided, Kundalini-inspired movement and gentle psychoeducation about how trauma and life experiences are stored in the body and ways to be with the sensations of our body.
Together, we will explore the power of somatic practices that help the body release tension and reconnect with a sense of safety and presence.
From there, we’ll move into a guided breathwork journey led by Laura. Breathwork is an intentional, conscious practice that works directly with the body and nervous system. By changing the rhythm of the breath, we can access emotions and experiences that are often held quietly beneath the surface.
Breathwork can support the movement of a wide range of emotions, mental clarity, and a deeper sense of aliveness and connection with yourself add another sentence.
During the breathwork journey, Charlotte will be providing optional trauma-informed touch. This may be provided via acupressure point holds, light, nurturing hand massages, scalp massages, or energy work.
Attuned, safe and loving touch has been scientifically shown to lower cortisol levels, ease pain, , boost oxytocin, and regulate the nervous system. This is the perfect pairing with breathwork where powerful emotions can come up.
This touch is optional and participants may opt out at any time.
This experience is designed to be accessible whether you are new to somatic work or have a long-standing practice. The focus is not on fixing anything, but on creating space to listen to the wisdom of your body, build awareness, and gently support your system in finding ease and grace.
This is a safe, nonjudgmental space to show up exactly as you are. We share a deep belief in the power of authenticity, embodied healing, and meeting every part of yourself with compassion.
Laura and Charlotte bring together not only their lived experiences in healing but education in psychology, neuroscience, anatomy, physiology and spirituality to create a grounded, scientifically-based experience.
We invite you to come as you are and experience what unfolds in a space of care and connection. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
We can’t wait to have you!
