Arts and nature based 9-month group coaching programme to strengthen your purpose, effectiveness and joy in these challenging times
About this Event

We live in a time of the most enormous challenges humanity and our planet has ever faced, and so perhaps it has never been so important for us to connect to our purpose with joy and fulfilment. And yet, it can be so difficult to find our way through the noise and overwhelm of modern life.

I invite you on a transformational journey with me through the seasons, to explore Coming back to Life together in a beautiful woodland setting, both outdoors and indoors, with different practising artists joining us each month.

We will go deep into our creativity and imagination, to access an inner world where anything is possible, that will resource us richly. We will seek to lovingly let go of the limits our culture has instilled in us, and experience more freedom and a path forward illuminated. We will practise experiencing the universe as a connected entity of dynamic energy instead of elements in isolation, allowing our mindsets to shift and new possibilities to open up.

The programme, named after Joanna Macy's book 'Coming Back to Life' is based on 'Active Hope' and the work of Joanna Macy, my own professional Life Coaching experience and trainings, the work of our Artist collaborators throughout the programme, and direct wisdom from the natural world. Others who have influenced me in this work include Alexandra Derwen, Vanessa Andreotti, Bayo Akomolafe, Martín Prechtel and Thich Nhat Hanh. Creative practices and nature-based skills are woven through our sessions such as ancestral crafts and skills, dance, working with fire, our Irish langauge, singing, visual arts, storytelling, imagination and writing.

If you are unsure about whether this is for you or not, this might be helpful... I asked previous participants to describe their experiences of the programme and here are some of the responses:

"Participating in the 'Coming Back to Life' programme with Róisín has awoken something in me I could not previously access. Through the variety of artistic practices we've been allowed to experience, such as song, wood carving, writing, nature connection and storytelling, I've been able to access both joy and grief and, in doing so, gained creative clarity in what's called for next in my life. Having engaged in many other forms of workshops in the past of a similar nature but without the artistic and creative practice, this has allowed the work to go much deeper."

Sarah-Jane

“It gives a holistic perspective on the big and small things that matter in life, bringing them together as we journey through fears we have to face and dreams we can reignite, learning slowly to connect with others through common struggle, peace and shame, and working to discard things which no longer serve us so that we can feel forward movement.”

Allan

"After a cancer diagnosis and treatment, I came across Róisín's programme 'Coming Back to Life' and I thought that it was the path to follow for me. During the programme, I was invited to explore my creativity and self-expression. I experienced reduced stress and anxiety, improved mood and happiness, and enhanced cognitive function. My well-being has improved. We need healers like Roisin, and her passion about the Irish language, culture, and heritage encourages a connection to the land and people."

Arantza

"Participating in Róisín’s course has shown me that art is all around us in the natural world. Having the opportunity to be creative with clay and natural Inks and understanding how these materials are formed and created has made me more nature conscious and really changed my outlook in terms of seeing how I can create with all of the resources around me. Róisín is a very skilled facilitator and her immersion in the natural world and her ability to weave that with the arts is something that is desperately needed in these times. She could just make you fall in love with the world around you once again if you’ve lost sight of that a little."

Caitríona

"I feel this work is really relevent and needed right now, to help people find an anchor in themselves, and from there, work on new ways to heal and live more consciously. Over the nine months I have been on 'Coming back to life', I feel that I am connecting with a courage inside to say 'yes' to change and 'yes' to living more compassionately with others."

Angela
