Comic Impressionist Ken Block is best known for his uncanny impersonations, with over 100+ voices spanning over 50 years of singers, comedians, politicians, and celebrities that will leave you wanting more.
While Mrs. Schmidt may not be a household name, she holds a special place in the journey of comic impressionist Ken Block. Hailing from Long Island, New York, Mrs. Schmidt was Ken's 9th grade math teacher and inadvertently became the character that launched his career.
"It was Mrs. Schmidt who first said, 'What do you think you are, a comedian? If you open your mouth one more time'... Of course, Ken did open his mouth one more time. He didn't say anything, he just opened his mouth!"
From mimicking his teachers to imagining celebrities as educators, Ken Block quickly honed his comedic skills. Picture Arnold Schwarzenegger as an English teacher, and you get the idea.
