Comet Special Star Gazing
Comet C/2025 R3 is shining in Morning Sky This Comet has brightened to visible magnitude of +6 and getting brighter.
Alongwith the Comet we have Beautiful Milkyway visible from Dark Sky.
The Summer Milkyway presents us with Lots of Nebulae, Galaxies and Star Clusters in Milkyway. Its time to See our Home Galaxy at its Full Glory at our Dark Sky site.
Date: 11 April, Saturday Overnight
Location: Wonders of Universe, Near Gunjavane village, Rajgad Fort base
Activities in General:
1. Comet Observation
2. Summer Milkyway Observation
3. Star gazing with Advanced telescope: Deep Sky object: Galaxies, Nebulae, Star clusters.
4. Planets: Jupiter, Venus.
Stay: Common Room stay.
Transport: Self transport.
Limited Seats
Registration by 9th April.
Charges inclusive of Veg Dinner, Morning breakfast and tea, stay and star gazing.
Note:
1. Comets are notoriously difficult to predict. Also same for the weather.
2. Slight changes in the schedule will be done as necessary during event.
3. Event will not be cancelled in case of bad weather and No refunds. We shall continue to discus various Astronomy topics.
4. Participants to take care to avoid any type of damage at Site, instruments. Responsibility of any damage lies with participants.
