About this Event
This interactive two-hour comedy writing class focuses on the fundamentals of turning everyday thoughts into jokes. Participants will learn basic joke structure, how to craft punchlines, and how to use writing prompts to generate original material. Through guided exercises and small group collaboration, students will practice developing comedic ideas and strengthening their punchlines. This class is designed for writers and aspiring comedians who want to explore stand-up comedy from a writing perspective. No performance required, but some participants will have an opportunity to share their jokes!
