Hats Funny Comedy returns to Wittering with another superb night of comedy, with 4 different comedians.
Opening the show is Paul Dennis. Paul has been serving his cheekily dark cocktail of anecdotal and musical comedy up and down the UK for the better part of 25 years.
His two Edinburgh Festival shows to date have earned him 4 star reviews – “masterful timing….a born storyteller” – EdFringeReview.
Swansea Fringe describes him as, “A multi-instrumentalist and skilled vocal artiste, he is the parody maestro, the biting social commentator, the ribald raconteur and the tragicomic anti-hero all rolled into one.”
After the interval is multi award winning Sallyann Fellowes. BBC Comedy Award nominee and Leicester Square Theatre Comedian of the Year 2023, SallyAnn is a self-diagnosed weirdo. She’s neuro-diverse, utterly mystified by the world she inhabits, and sure as Haribo doesn’t get the human race. She’s the most likely person to fall over nothing or get lost in a toilet.
SallyAnn is an extremely likeable and unique act, one of our favourites at Hats Funny Comedy.
Closing the show is John Newton. John is a stalwart of the circuit, began his career in 2003 & became well known for his creative writing covering a wide spectrum of subjects from the surreal to the hard hitting.

Your MC for the night is Alex Hylton. Alex Hylton is one of the fastest rising comics in the Midlands and a presenter and writer for BlueMoonRisingTv. A youthful, energetic new act with relatable anecdotes of adolescence, mixing in one-liners and a smudge of surrealism to create a likable and unique style, Alex is tipped by many to go all the way.
