Patriot Night – July 4 Evening PerformanceHighlighting Courtney Place
We are proud to expand our outreach this year by supporting a new veterans’ assistance organization during our Patriot Night performance on evening of July 4th.
Courtney Place operates a 34-unit veterans housing community in Salem, Oregon. They also provide critical services such as peer support, transportation assistance, health navigation, employment support, and opportunities for community engagement. Their mission focuses on providing stability first, followed by helping veterans achieve long-term independence and dignity.
As a non-profit, much of the fundraising they do goes directly toward programming that supports veterans of all ages. These programs include group activities such as fishing trips and other outings that encourage connection and camaraderie. In addition to housing and support services, helping veterans cope with depression and providing mental health resources are important parts of the work they do to support those returning home after service.
We invite all St. Paul Rodeo Members to join us for a fun night out while also supporting this important organization. Courtney Place will be hosting a fundraising event at the Elsinore Theatre in Salem on April 1 featuring Rob Riggle — Saturday Night Live comedian, movie actor, and former Marine. It is a great opportunity to enjoy social time with our membership while supporting our new partnership with Courtney Place.
