Join us at The Phoenician in Haverhill, MA on Saturday, June 20th for a huge night of comedy in our event hall, headlined by the undisputed King of Boston Comedy, Steve Sweeney! And with Father's Day falling the very next day, this is the perfect way to celebrate the dads in your life!
Born and raised in Charlestown, Steve Sweeney is one of the most beloved and recognizable figures in New England comedy. A master of dialects and character voices, Steve has kept audiences laughing for decades, honing his craft at the legendary Ding-Ho Comedy Club alongside Lenny Clarke, Jay Leno, Denis Leary, and more. He was the first of the Boston comedy stars to break into television, with a starring role in "Park Street Under," a Boston-based sitcom that many believe was the inspiration for the hit show "Cheers." His television credits also include Late Night with David Letterman, Evening at the Improv, Comics Come Home, and Comedy Central. You may also recognize him from his film work, including Rodney Dangerfield's Back to School, Celtic Pride, There's Something About Mary, and Me, Myself & Irene. A true legend of Boston comedy, Steve has been making New England audiences laugh for over five decades and shows absolutely no signs of stopping. When Steve takes the mic, you're getting pure Boston, completely unfiltered, and absolutely hilarious.

Two ticket options are available:
Show Only Ticket: General admission to the show. Hall doors open at 7 PM for show only ticket holders.
Show & Buffet Ticket: Includes access to the show plus a delicious pre-show buffet. Buffet will include marinated steak tips, chicken piccata, french fries, rice, and a salad. Buffet ticket holders will have early entry into the hall beginning at 6 PM, with the buffet starting at 6:30 PM. Wristbands will be issued at the door to buffet ticket holders upon entry.
The Phoenician restaurant next door opens at 4 PM for those who would like to start the evening with dinner off the menu or drinks before the show. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made at phoenicianrestaurant.com. No food will be served in the event hall outside of the pre-show buffet, although a full bar will be available before and during the show.
Important Table Seating Info: When purchasing tickets, you will select seats at your preferred table from our venue map. You will be seated at that exact table, but individual seats within each table are first come, first served. Seats are not individually numbered inside the hall.
