Welcoming to the stage:
LEE HURST - has had a varied life, a former cleaner, a van driver and labourer. He became a comedian, did TV warm-up work and then ended up on TV himself as one of the stars of the hit BBC comedy sports quiz They Think It’s All Over. He has numerous other TV appearances including Have I Got News For You, Comic Relief and Don’t Give Up The Day Job.
He then walked away from it all to open his own Backyard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green in London’s East End. In 2011 he knocked the comedy club down and built a seven-storey hotel reopening his comedy club on the ground floor. (Told you he’s had a varied life.)
Lee is now returning to his roots and playing the UK’s finest comedy clubs in 2026.
OLAF FALAFEL - is a Swedish comedy sensation and multiple award winner. In 2019 he won Dave’s Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! With a unique mixture of one-liners and Scandinavian-tinged stories he has earned the purely fictitious title of 'Sweden's eighth funniest comedian'.
MICHAEL AKADIRI - the inaugural winner of the Komedia New Comedy Award and starred in the London finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2021 (BBC Three). Michael’s burgeoning TV career has seen him feature on the latest series of Comedy Central LIVE and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2).
PAUL REVILL - He is an award-winning comedian and one of the most likable acts on the UK comedy circuit
