Comedy Kings is an Improv and Stand-up Comedy Experience based on the drinking game Kings. Every comic will do a stand-up comedy set and then will pick a card to find out which improv game they will be playing. We are all kings at Comedy Kings!
Comedy Kings is a BYOB private event through Eventbrite.
Card meanings for Comedy Kings
2 - A 2 is for you - A randomly selected audience member gets to pick the improv challenge for the comic from the other card selections. 4 through the joker.
3 - A 3 is for me - The comic gets to pick which one of the improv challenges they wish to do from the other card selections. 4 through the joker.
4 - A 4 is to the floor - The comic tells a funny embarrassing life moment story.
5 - A 5 is for the guys - The comic tells a funny story about a time a man did them dirty.
6 - A 6 is for the chicks - The comic tells a funny story about a time a lady did them dirty.
7 - A 7 is for heaven - The comic tells a funny story of triumph!
8 - An 8 is for a mate - The comic and an audience volunteer play the improv game, 'One Word at a Time'.
9 - A 9 is for a rhyme - The comic must improv sing, or rap a song based on 3 audience suggestions.
10 - A 10 is categories - The comic must improv a set based on three audience suggestions.
Jack - A Jack is “never have I ever” - The comic must play 5-finger "never have I ever" with the audience saying the “never have I evers” one at a time. Facilitated by the host.
Queen - A Queen is Questions - The comic must do a crowd work set.
King - A King is a rule - The comic tells a funny story about a time they broke the rules in society.
Ace - An Ace is a waterfall - The comedian has to lead a crowd sing-along of the first verse of one of the following on karaoke; Taylor Swift's Anti-Hero; Taylor Swift's Blank Space; or Taylor Swift's Love Story.
Joker - A Joker is the wild card - The comic tells their most controversial joke. The joke they’ve written that could get them “canceled”.
