Come check out the Best Comedy Night in the East Bay in the 2024 East Bay Express Reader Poll! Shows are held in the Polka Dot room at The Factory Bar, an intimate 42-seat back room that is perfect for standup comedy.

• WHAT: Comedy at Factory is a monthly-ish standup-comedy showcase. You can expect to see national headliners, performers from the SF Punchline, Cobb's, the San Jose Improv and comedians who have been on Late Night TV, Comedy Central, and Netflix.

Comedy at the Factory is produced by Richard Barney, producer of the hit San Francisco show Submission Comedy (formerly at the Armory Club).

Rich is a standup comedian and improviser based out of San Francisco. He's performed at the San Francisco Sketchfest and with comedians such as Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, and Zach Galifianakis. In 2018 Rich was the Political Director for The Comedy Resistance, a progressive 501(c)(4) non-profit that put on more than 50 Get Out The Vote/Voter Registration comedy shows around the country at venues such as Chicago’s Second City, the Paramount Theater in Austin Texas, and a bunch of parking lots.

• Sold out means sold out (this is a change), however, if there are no shows or additional capacity we will fill every seat.
• Late arrivals are not guaranteed seating. We will seat whoever is there for the start of the show.
• If you purchased tickets and for whatever reason are unable to attend request a refund through the app. Refunds prior to 24 hours to the show will be granted.
