Building on the success of the ‘Real Estate Poetry Project’, KVA are proud to present ‘Come Rhyme With Us’ – a series of writing workshops with a twist!
Lead by award-winning poet Michael Groce, joined by Samuel Braga from the Real Estate Poetry Project, you are invited to the Rose Theatre in Kingston to have your voice heard through creative writing and poetry. And yes, we do mean YOU. ‘Come Rhyme with Us’ doesn’t require past experience in creative expression such as poetry. We believe that each individual has a story worth telling and we would love for you to share yours. It doesn’t have to be high-brow or ‘perfect’ but rather real, raw and authentic. You are welcome just the way you are.
Through creative writing exercises, poetry sharing and meaningful discussions, we aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your emotions, thoughts and experiences.
Throughout the workshop, you will delve into themes of identity, emotions, resilience and empowerment, all while building empathy and connection with fellow participants.
Taking place once a month on Wednesday Evenings 6.00pm-8.00pm, starting on 18th October 2023.
