A gathering for men to reconnect through play, movement, conversation, and community in the park. Pull up and play, like back in the day.
About this Event

Come Outside was created in response to a growing reality many men are facing: disconnection.

Too many men have been taught that manhood means emotional suppression, hyper-independence, and constant seriousness. Many of us grew up playing outside, building friendships naturally through movement, imagination, and shared experiences. Somewhere along the way, many men lost that connection to each other, to joy, and even to themselves.

This is a Saturday gathering designed to help men reconnect through play, conversation, movement, and community.

This is not a networking event, performance space, or competition-driven environment.

It is a low-pressure space where men can simply show up, breathe, walk, laugh, and spend time together outdoors.

We believe friendship is a part of wellness.
We believe play is a part of healing.
We believe being a man does not always have to mean being tense, guarded, or emotionally isolated.

Each Saturday gathering follows a simple structure:

11:00 AM – Park and Gather
Arrive, settle in, connect casually.

11:30 AM – Introductions and Intentions
Brief grounding and space setting for the day.

11:40 AM – Walk and Talk
Group walk with open conversation and reflection.

12:30 PM – Open Activity
Basketball, stretching, games, conversation, music, journaling, or whatever the group feels called toward.

Play Until You Can't No More

Come Outside is especially intentional about creating welcoming space for Black and Brown men navigating the pressures of adulthood, responsibility, stress, and isolation. Through nature, movement, friendship, and shared presence, we hope to cultivate a healthier and more connected experience of masculinity one rooted not just in responsibility, but also joy.

Pull up and play, like back in the day.
