We're ready to welcome our come from aways to Junction 4 and are excited to tell you all about it.When: 7pm, Monday 29th September 2025
Where: Junction 4, Unit 8 Woodside, Whitehills Business Park, FY4 5PL
Winner of four Olivier Awards including Best New Musical in London and the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical on Broadway, this smash hit show shares the incredible real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland community that invited these ‘come from aways’ into their lives with open hearts.
We are specifically on the look out for a gay lumberjack, the first female first American captain in history, a rare bonobo chimpanzee, a sexy-tary, and a moose.
The launch event is open to all, a friend of the company or current member; previous cast or those who come from away. So if you're interested in joining us, come on down.
We want our cast to reflect the rich, global community at the heart of Come From Away. We warmly encourage performers of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and abilities to apply — especially those from Black, Asian, Middle Eastern, North African, Latinx and other Global Majority backgrounds. Roles such as Bob, Hannah, and Ali are traditionally played by non-white performers, and we’re excited to do our best to celebrate that diversity in our company.
We're also on the look out for volunteers looking to support the production or develop their skills in prop making, scenery and art building, stage-tech, theatre marketing, and front of house during the run. Our Production Team will be on hand to answer any questions, offer guidance, and take names of those looking to get involved off stage, pre-production or through the run.
The show dates are Wednesday 25th - Saturday 28th March 2026 at Lowther Pavillion Theatre, Lytham.
"On the northeast tip of North America, on an island called Newfoundland, there's an airport.
It used to be one of the biggest airports in the world, and next to it is a town called Gander..."
We can't wait to welcome you all the the rock.
** This is an adult production, anybody hoping to join our cast will need to be 16 and out of school at the time of the production.
