September 21st is the date for NSO's "Come and Sing Opera Choruses" at Christ Church, Prince Edward's Road, Lewes BN7 1BL. Led by Matt Jelf, our Associate Chorus Master, we will be singing a varied selection from Purcell ("With Drooping Wings" - Dido & Aeneas) and Blow ("Mourn for thy Servant" - Venus & Adonis), via Verdi (Anvil Chorus - Il Trovatore) and Wagner (Wedding March - Lohengrin) to Britten ("The Spacious Firmament on High" - Noye's Fludde).All are welcome - we will be singing from 2 to 5pm with a generous tea break. £20 per person, music provided. Feel free to add any donations on top if you wish to as this event is also a fund raiser for NSO. We look forward to welcoming you to join us.
