REGISTRATION BEGINS NOVEMBER 1, 2024Join Marianne Salas, member of the #GardenClubJax Board of Trustees, member of the Late Bloomers Garden Club, FFGC District IV photography chair, and Garden Club of America photography judge, for an interactive program on using your smartphone to take and edit photographs.
Marianne will instruct you on the basics of photographing with a mobile device by setting up a few still-life scenes for participants to photograph. Then she will show you ways to edit them within your device.

Marianne Salas has an MFA in painting/printmaking and began taking photographs as an aid to her botanical paintings. Eventually and especially with the advent of digital cameras, she began to appreciate photography as an artistic medium. She also credits her father, who always had a Roliflex in his hands and recorded her and her sisters’ early childhood with stereo optic slides.
Combined Circles is an occasional program that allows members of garden circles to meet at the Garden Club of Jacksonville for fellowship and camaraderie.
