Colwick 8 is back for 2025 🙌Our annual distance swim event offers WholeHealth members the opportunity to swim the distance of one of the iconic Lake District stretches of water:
CHOOSE YOUR 'LAKE'
Grasmere 1.6 km --3 LOOPS-- £10- 8:45am star
Buttermere 2.0 km --4 LOOPS-- £12- 8:30am start
Ennerdale 3.8 km --6 LOOPS--£15 - 8:15am start
Derwent 4.6 km --8 LOOPS-- £17- 8am start
Haweswater 6.9 km --12 LOOPS--£20 -7:45am start
Coniston 8.7 km --15 LOOPS--£30 - 7:30am start
Ullswater 11.8 km --20 LOOPS--£40 - 7:15am start
Windermere 16.8 km --28 LOOPS--£50 - 7am start
The event will commence at 7am on the Sunday morning with the longest lake swimmers setting off first, and then at 15 minute intervals. Swimmers have until midday to swim their chosen lake.
That’s up to 6 hours of swimming time to “swim your lake.”
Just decide what lake you would like to swim based on your Endurance ----Speed ----Motivation!
To enter, make sure you have enough credits to swim your lake, and get in touch to reserve your place.
You'll receive all joining details and info nearer the time.
