Columbus Hospice needs your support! Come out on March 28th at 9:00am to assist Columbus Hospice by reopening their Nature Walk trail.
The 1/2 mile trail has not been utilized in several years and is overgrown and blocked by several fallen trees. The trail will be a tremendous opportunity for both families of patients, staff, and their pets to enjoy nature and escape from the daily stress associated around hospice care.
It will be extremely helpful for anyone who wishes to volunteer to bring landscaping tools and equipment to expedite the work that needs to be done. In addition, ensure you bring plenty of water, work gloves, and eye protection.
A bag lunch and refreshments will be provided by Columbus Hospice.
If time allows, additional wooded areas around the parking lot are in need of a similar cleanup.
