Guest Speaker: Dr Emma Alexander has nearly 15 years of experience in amateur astronomy and has a PhD in astrophysics. Her astrophysics research centers on radio astronomy, with a particular focus on Galactic filaments, astrophysical magnetism, and radio galaxies. She is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, and is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.
