About this Event
This workshop introduces the building blocks of soft acrobatics through a range of movements including front and back rolls, cartwheels (two-handed and one-handed), vaulting, and other partner-based explorations.
We’ll work with these elements in a progressive way, with options and variations offered based on the level and experience of the group. Whether you’re newer to this kind of movement or more experienced, you’ll be able to engage in a way that feels appropriate for you.
Expect a fun, engaging environment with an awesome community of eager movers, where curiosity and play are just as important as skill-building.
These skills can be integrated into your broader movement practice or simply used to help expand the possibilities of how you move and relate to your body and others.
Noaman is a Colours in Contact teacher, a Toronto-based dance community that offers inclusive, beginner-friendly contact improv and movement experiences, with a focus on creativity, connection, and exploration.
