About this Event
Everyone experiences loss – whether it’s a loved one, a job or career, a marriage, a pet. Most of us are not well equipped to talk about it or deal with it. Yet, loss is a critical part of life - we grow through our grappling with it. Hearing about someone else's story of loss and grief can be just the therapy you need to help you move through your own. This beautiful, connected afternoon celebrates Alise's latest work on loss and resilience through her book called 'Coloring Life'. You will work through some exercises to help you understand the value of your loss, what the loss opens in your life, and how you can find meaning in the experience of losing someone or something precious to you. This is an impactful afternoon that begins with the story of losing both my parents 28 days apart, the wisdom about living that came from the loss, and is enlarged by the sharing of fellow participants about their own experiences of loss and what it taught them. Investment: $99
