Colorado is facing a dire drought, and with it comes a serious risk of fire danger. Our water levels are a concern for everyone in our community. We are gathering not just to hope for rain, but to spread awareness about our water situation and the importance of fire safety.
The Vision:
We are planning a community-wide Rain Dance! To make this happen safely and effectively, we need your help. This group is currently a "brainstorming hub" to figure out the best location and logistics to ensure this event is done properly.
What to Expect (Tentative Plans):
When: Aiming for this Sunday or an afternoon next week (Date/Time TBD).
The Vibe: Family-friendly, high energy, and community-focused.
The Attire: Come dressed in your best rain-encouraging outfits! Think blues, teals, umbrellas, or anything that represents water.
The Sound: We’ll have rain-themed music playing—please bring your drums, rattles, or percussion instruments to play along!

To ensure this is a safe space for families and respects our current environment:
🚫 NO FIRE: Given the fire danger, no lighters, matches, or flames of any kind.
🚫 NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS: This is a sober, family-friendly gathering.
✅ LEAVE NO TRACE: We will leave our gathering spot cleaner than we found it.
