This Colorado Gives Day, Localworks aims to raise $15,000 in support of the Clear Creek Makerspace (CCM). Since its opening in March 2024, CCM has welcomed over 31,000 visitors to our Wheat Ridge hub, a place where anyone can learn, create, and grow. Members at CCM build projects, develop skills, launch businesses, and strengthen community through programs like Growing U, which provides workshops, resources, and micro-funding grants to help members take their ideas to the next level.

What is Bar Stool Bingo?
Bar Stool Bingo is an interactive, community-driven fundraiser with a Wheat Ridge twist. Inspired by the city’s agricultural roots, we’ve taken the popular, originally Texan, bar game of Chicken S#!T Bingo and made it our own!

NOTE: We will be selling ALL rounds at the beginning of the event! We will STOP selling squares at 6:45p.m.
Here’s how the game works: participating players purchase a raffle ticket that has the same letter/number combinations as it would on a bingo card (i.e. B-36, O-37, etc.), but instead of everyone having their own board, it’s played as a single, sudden-death round of bingo and the winner is “chosen” by the chicken.
What? How can the winner be chosen by a chicken?! I’m glad you asked! First and foremost, we can assure you that chickens are safe, warm, happy, and especially well-fed. They will be off-site, on their farm, in a specialty coop built just for this event! The chickens will eat their dinner and then…um…well...process their food. You know what they say: what goes in, must come out! When “nature calls” and their droppings land on a bingo square, we will have a winner!
Sometimes a “result” can take a few minutes, but based on last year’s event we know we will be able to play several rounds over the course of our two hour event.
