Color Your Calm: A Guided Coloring Experience is a relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop designed to support mindfulness, stress relief, creativity, and emotional well-being.
This guided one-hour experience introduces the wellness benefits of coloring, including relaxation, improved focus, reduced stress and anxiety, and creative flow. Participants will be gently guided through coloring techniques, mindful prompts, and intuitive color exploration, followed by an optional group reflection.
During this 60-minute workshop, you will:
- Learn about the mental, emotional, and wellness benefits of coloring
- Practice simple mindfulness-based coloring techniques
- Explore color as a form of creative self-care and relaxation
- Increase focus, calm the nervous system, and spark creativity
- Optionally share reflections on your experience in a supportive space

No artistic experience required. All are welcome.

About the Facilitator
Kalunda Janae Hilton is a visual artist, colorist, and creative consultant whose work is rooted in the healing language of color and the quiet poetry of nature. Her creative journey began with coloring, where she discovered how color can be a powerful tool for calm, clarity, and self-expression. Today, she creates guided experiences that invite people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore creativity without pressure or expectation.
She is the creator of the coloring book Relax and Free Your Mind: KJanae Floral Designs, which inspired the foundation of her guided coloring workshops. Kalunda has developed stress-relieving coloring activities and led mindful coloring sessions in professional settings that support mental wellness, creativity, and emotional balance. Her approach is grounded in presence, accessibility, and the belief that creativity supports well-being for everyone.
