Let your prints explode with color! This technique is perfect for students who have been scratching their heads over the latest TikTok video: How do they DO that?? In this class, you'll create carve block that we'll slice and dice into different pieces in order to cleanly add 2-4 different colors. We'll also explore gradients to add even more color to your blocks. Eventually, we'll print on both fabric and paper.
All materials are provided. You are welcome to bring your own fabric or paper to print on, though it is not required.
Some block printing experience is recommended, but not required. This class is suitable for students ages 15 and up.

RJ has been block printing for several years and has developed this method before it was popular on the internet. He uses these blocks to create tote bags and prints. In her free time RJ draws bugs, cuddles her cat, gardens, and makes weird stuff. See more and connect @beccaquibbles.
