Career Path: Pharmaceutical Mass Tort Defense Counsel
Lesley Chuang is a senior associate at DLA Piper’s Boston office. As a scientist-turned-litigator, Attorney Chuang’s practice focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical products and medical devices, including multidistrict litigation, mass tort, class action, and complex commercial litigation. In addition, Attorney Chuang counsels clients on regulatory issues involving emerging contaminants, in particular the state of the law and science of PFAS across the U.S. Furthermore, she has an active pro bono practice and represents Special Immigrant Juveniles and clients seeking asylum. Attorney Chuang serves on the Board of the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts and co-chairs the Mass Torts and Class Actions Committee at the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Additionally, she serves as a Trustee of the Boston Bar Foundation and an Editor of the Boston Bar Journal. Attorney Chuang is a graduate of Union College, Princeton University, and the University of Connecticut School of Law.
