SharinasArtyCrafty is a children art group of Bangladesh-American community of South Jersey. For more than a decade these children are learning art and art history under guidance of artist and physician Dr. Mashiul Chowdhury. They have exhibited their work at several art galleries in Philadelphia in past. This is going to be their third juried exhibition which will be happening at Rowan College of Burlington County in South Jersey on April 18.
Color Beyond Borders celebrates the creativity, imagination, and evolving voices of young artists from the Bangladesh American community who have been gathering in Mashiul’s studio for over a decade. Meeting once a month, these students come together not only to learn technique, but to explore identity, memory, and belonging through art. Over the years, their work has grown into a vibrant archive of shared experience. Some paintings reflect stories inherited from Bangladesh — landscapes, festivals, family memories — while others respond to life in America, navigating dual cultures with curiosity and confidence. Their artworks move fluidly between two worlds, dissolving geographic and cultural boundaries through color, form, and fearless expression.
