After having spent the day in Cologne's southern districts of Rodenkirchen to watch a typical local parade ( https://www.koeln.de/karneval/umzuege/karnevalszug-rodenkirchen/ ) & catch lots of sweets and Strüßjer [ StrÜssJair ] (little bunch of flowers) - "Carnival 2026 SUN 15 02 DAY Rodenkirchen", ☞!ⒻⒾⓃⒹ ⒶⓁⓁ ⒸⓈ&ⒻⒷ-ⓁⒾⓃⓀⓈ ⒷⒺⓁⓄⓌ!☜ - we're gonna experience THE CRASSEST POSSIBLE CONTRAST to all the typical Carnival partying we've had so far:
A night at Cologne's offshoot [ https://www.vault-events.de/termine/27-12-2025-kitkatclub-bootshaus/ ] of Berlin's legendary KitKatClub - at the no less legendary "Bootshaus" [ https://maps.app.goo.gl/zBkLozM5mSijDUnS6 ] - regularly voted Germany's best club!!!
BEWARE (SERIOUSLY!): this is NOT EVERYBODY'S CUP OF TEA!!!
It is a club, and they have a dance floor and people dance on it, and bars where people have drinks - but they have also corners where people have sex. And some people also have sex on the dance floor - or right next to it. And on the way to toilet. And in the chill-out lounge. And at the bars...
THERE IS NO MUST and you will find that people there are most probably more respectful and being mindful of others' boundaries than you have it in all other clubs (with what you might consider "the exception" that nobody cares about what YOU might SEE them doing...).
They don't even have "classic security" - no fights ever at that club!
And people there smell much better than at other clubs, too (no kidding!)!!
MOST OF THE WOMEN I talked into going there with me confirmed to me afterwards how THEY HAVE NEVER FELT THAT SAFE AND THUS AT EASE in any other club before!!!
And the sex is really not mandatory or even just "expected" at all!
It is NOT a swingers' club and I guess that only about half of the people have sex there at all (if not even less!). It really can be just a DIFFERENT kind of club/disco - if YOU want it to be "just that"! I myself have been there more than once without having sex and it's still fun and just a unique atmosphere!!!

Entrance for the KitKatClub is 35 € - to paid IN CASH ONLY.
THE BOOTSHAUS DOES ACCEPTS CARDS NOW - SO whatever you consume there you can pay at the bars by card!!!
You pay the 35€ IN CASH before you go in AND MIGHT need some more cash for storing your stuff (at one of the lockers, if there's still one available and not too small for your stuff - or else at the "cloak room" counter where it's safe while you're naked-ish...;-D). HOW AND WHERE CAN "LATERCOMERS" MEET US ON SUNDAY:
We should leave from our place by 9:30pm AT THE VERY LATEST (to not have to queue for more than an hour to get in!)!!! But you can also just join us later at the Bootshaus - though the later the evening the more they take care of trying to have an equal percentage of boys and girls (so it could be harder for guys to get in...) - AND they (at least in the past would) tend to be a bit stricter about what you wear. So best would be to join us beforehand and we go all together!
You might need to try and contact anyone of us first - THOUGH getting hold of one of us might be tricky and take a while, ESPECIALLY when we're inside the club, leaving our cell phones with our other clothes at the cloakroom SINCE PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE KIT KAT CLUB!!!
Try the WhatsApp group and/or check the posts and discussion threads on the EVENT PAGES AND (if you can) CHECK THE DESCRIPTION HERE AGAIN FOR ANY LAST-MINUTE UPDATES (that I might even add after the "event started") BEFORE YOU COME TO JOIN US!

If you stored your stuff at main station's automatic locker machines, then you can always pick it up at night when you go home. THAT WILL BE MOST PROBABLY AFTER MIDNIGHT - so IF YOU CANNOT use the automatic locker machines but have to use the "Gepäckcenter" counter at the Douglas perfumery instead (IF that still exists...), then also consider bringing your stuff to some other place for at that counter you can only pick it up the next morning...
