Join Nerdy Girl Success and SLB for a 1 day Sustainability Hackathon designed for college women who are ready to collaborate, create, and tackle real world challenges that actually matter.This is not a lecture and you do not need prior experience in sustainability, engineering, or tech to participate. All you need is curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to work alongside other driven young women in a fun, supportive environment.
Throughout the day, participants will:
💡 Work in teams to solve sustainability challenges
🌱 Explore topics connected to climate, nature, and community impact
🤝 Connect with professional women and mentors from across Houston
🎤 Present ideas in a collaborative pitch experience
🏆 Compete for exciting prizes and awards
Participants will also gain hands-on leadership experience, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, and build confidence tackling complex ideas in a space designed to encourage innovation and bold thinking.
Whether you’re studying STEM, business, communications, healthcare, education, or are simply passionate about creating positive change, this experience is for you.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Identify as a woman
• Ages 18–22
• Currently enrolled in college/university/junior college/community college or a recent graduate (within 2 years)
This is more than a hackathon. It’s a chance to meet incredible women, build something meaningful, and see yourself as a future leader and changemaker!
