About this Event
Join Our Healing Circle!
The Collective Healing Women's group is a healing circle and a semi-structured group therapy led by Dr. Munazza S. Abraham. Dr. Munazza is a licensed clinical and community psychologist in Maryland who practices Afrikan-centered psychotherapy!
What to expect: Come together in a warm, supportive space designed especially for women of color to share, heal, and uplift each other. This in-person gathering is all about connection, indentity exploration, self-determination, and empowerment to create the life you've always wanted. Whether you're looking to reflect on challenges and life lessons, understand and transmute complex emotions, learn new skills and unlearn old habits, or be surrounded by understanding souls, this circle welcomes you with open arms.
This group can be helpful for individuals struggling with identity-based trauma, anxious or low moods, unhappiness, self-criticizing thoughts, lower self-esteem, often feeling lonely, feeling lost, experiencing race-based stress, and stressful life transitions.
Bring your authentic self, stories, baggage, and anything that needs to be checked or released. We’ve got you!
More about your facilitator: A therapist, a sound bowl practitioner, a poet, and a lover of nature; Dr. Munazza has over 10 years of experience in creative expression, mental health, and community programs. As an Afrikan-centered psychotherapist, she believes there is no separation between art, science, and spirit. She operates from the standpoint that "Community is Medicine." So, come get yours!
