About this Event
Join Ujima Boston and Collective Futures Fund (CFF) to learn about exciting opportunities for artists and cultural workers at each organization. Participants are encouraged to stay for a facilitated co-working session with support from CFF and Ujima Staff. Previous awardees and fellows will be in attendance to share out their project and work with applicants to craft applications
Collective Futures Fund will share about their artist grants supporting independent projects and artistic research in the Greater Boston area and strategies for strong applications.
Ujima Boston will share about their upcoming 2026-2027 Open Call for facilitators for the School for Uncommon Practice as well as vendor calls for the Juneteenth Celebration, We Create the World. The School for Uncommon Practice is a new arts learning space, facilitated by artists and cultural organizers who wish to share their skills and practices back into Boston area communities.
Afterwards attendees can participate in a collaborative working session to begin preparing their applications for either opportunity (or another opportunity) with support from facilitators and their peers.
