Welcome to Collective Freedom Dreams: African American Read-In!

Come join us on Fri, Feb 28, 2025, at 5:30 PM at the Black Wall Street Liquid Lounge for a night celebrating literature and culture.

Bring your favorite book by an African American author to share with others, or come to listen and enjoy powerful stories and be inspired by the collective freedom dreams of Black leaders trailblazing change for children and families.

We’re bringing the community together for a joy-filled read-in featuring local leaders reading children's books and celebrating Black brilliance, culture, and communal hope. This is a space where children and families can experience the love of literacy, build home libraries, and be inspired by the power of storytelling.

We’re also hosting a Book Drive! 📚 Donate new or gently used children's books to help kids build their at-home libraries.
