About this Event
Join us for a guided artistic practice where you'll explore identity through abstract self-portrait collaging. We’ll uncover new ways to challenge and reimagine the binaries around us by experimenting with new tools for self-expression.
This program is led by SLC visual artist and photographer, LUNA.
Basic supplies will be provided, but any additional materials are welcome. Attendance is Free! but recommended supply donation is appreciated.
Materials:
We’ve designed this workshop to be free for accessibility purposes, but if you would like to help by bringing materials to either use yourself in the workshop or share it would be greatly appreciated! This can be tools like scissors/glue sticks or collaging materials like magazines/printed images/books. Our isntructor will be bringing as many of those materials as I can, alongside things like patterned paper and stencils.
Accessibility Information:
- Masks are required inside the store, but provided by Under the Umbrella
- A Gender Neutral bathroom will be directly next to the workshop inside the store
- This is a queer and BIPOC friendly space!
