Collage Workshop: Alternate Realities
Join multidisciplinary artist Chris Deng at Liz's Book Bar for a guided collage workshop to create visual narratives about the possibilities and realities we envision for ourselves in 2025. We’ll kick off with a brief craft lecture, then dive into an hour and a half of hands-on collage-making. You’ll learn how to select and layer imagery that evokes liminality — think doors, hallways, and mirrors. We'll then wrap with a gallery walk and casual group share.
This workshop is great for both beginners and the very crafty! All tools and magazines are provided, though you're welcome to bring any images and ephemera you'd like to work with.
