Celebrate the arrival of spring with a playful collage workshop on Wednesday 18th March at 18.30 at The Alchemy Experiment.
About this Event

Join us at The Alchemy Experiment on Wednesday 18th March at 6.30pm to celebrate the arrival of spring through collage! You will create your own compositions using colourful paper stocks, hand painted paper and botanical cut-outs. You will be guided through various creative prompts to create your own collages. All materials will be provided, you will learn collage and compositions techniques , and you will leave with your new collages.



Who is this for?

This event is for anyone ages 18+ interested in exploring collage, art and nature in a relaxing and welcoming environment. This workshop is suitable for all levels, no previous experience and skills are necessary.



What is the After Hours Creative Club?

Monthly workshops hosted by Concrete Nature on Wednesday evenings and Sundays Between Glasgow and Edinburgh to nurture your creativity off-screen and connect with fellow creatives.



Materials

All materials will be provided, however we recommend you bring a tote bag or shopping bag big enough to fit A4 size artworks to keep your artwork safe when you leave the workshop and make your way home.



Location & Nearest subway station

The Alchemy Experiment is an inclusive art venue located on Byres Road, and the nearest subway station is Hillhead. There is on street parking around the venue. The closest Nextbike Station is number 8314, it is located outside of Kelvin Hall Subway Staion, for more information visit Nextbike's website.



About the venue

The upper exhibition space where the workshop will be taking place is fully accessible from ground level on Byres Road. However, please note the toilets are not wheelchair accessible, they are located downstairs and only accessible via a flight of stairs. Cancellation policy

Tickets will only be refundable up to 7 days prior to the event taking place. Tickets are non-exchangeable. Please note Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend the event after the deadline for refund, please let us know via email us at [email protected] so your ticket can be re-allocated to someone on our waiting list.
