Stick Together Collage Social is a gathering at The Old Nun's Head pub in Nunhead. Join us as we explore a different visual theme each month using a carefully curated selection of collage materials.
This month's theme is HEAD TURNER and we'll be altering and adorning portrait photographs from vintage books, catalogues and magazines to create unique artworks.
No need to bring anything; all materials including collage papers, glue, and scissors are supplied by the organiser.
Immerse yourself in analogue collage-making and meet new people in a supportive and friendly group setting.
Newcomers are welcome. No prior experience of collage is required and there's no pressure to share or display your work. Anyone can collage. The emphasis is on relaxing and enjoying the creative process together.
Your Stick Together host is Rachel, a Nunhead local who has been collecting and collaging with an ever-growing selection of vintage and modern papers for years.
Curating materials for a new theme each month to bring you an inspiring selection of papers, books, magazines, embellishments, washi tapes, stamps, print-outs, sequins, scissors, craft knives and gluesticks takes both time and money, so I recently switched from donations to paid tickets to ensure Stick Together is the best it can be.
(This is an 18+ adult pub-based event so no children, sorry)
