Collage Journaling: Visual Autobiography

BYO mixed media journal - or purchase one at the event - and explore creating a visual autobiography, a personal vision board, or a self-portrait through collage. These creative sessions will feature new collage prompts each month designed for you to make within a journal. By art-making within our journals, we nurture and build a record of purposeful creative exploration that deepens our connection with art.

No experience necessary, just come as you are ✨

Monthly prompts may involve exploring collaging with different media like watercolor or pastels. If possible, you'll want to bring a journal or sketchbook with paper made for mixed media art. This type of paper will allow for wet/dry art making and avoid warping.

Don't have a mixed media journal? No worries! A limited number of journals will be available for purchase at each event. Single sheets of mixed media paper will also be available.

Make Stuff is a monthly art-making community for adults - a club for doodlers, DIY dabblers, the craft curious, and artists of all skill levels.

Through art making experiences and community building, Make Stuff encourages the exploration of your own personal connection with art, and the pursuit of defining what creativity means to you.
