Colibrí Clothing Exchange Boutique: Lakeshore Edition

Three Latina-led organizations — Latina Network, LAUP, and Lakeshore Latinas — are coming together to host the very first Colibrí Clothing Exchange Boutique: Lakeshore Edition on Saturday, August 1!

This FREE event invites Latinas to bring new or “like new” professional and business casual clothing, shoes, and accessories to exchange for amazing “new-to-you” finds donated by other mujeres in our community. Think of it as a stylish community swap meets boutique experience — with music, snacks, stylists, and lots of Latina connection and good vibes. 💃🏽

Whether you need outfits for the office, networking events, interviews, casual Fridays, conferences, or after-hours cocktail events, this is a fun and budget-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe while supporting sustainability and sisterhood.

👗 What to Bring
Please bring clean, current-style items in excellent condition:
• Blouses & tops
• Slacks & skirts
• Blazers & jackets
• Dresses & suits
• Sweaters & business casual outfits
• Shoes, purses, scarves, belts & jewelry

To help create a true boutique experience, items must be free of stains, holes, tears, excessive wrinkles, pilling, or pet hair.

Space is limited, so please register for only one:
• Shopping Round 1: 10:00–11:00 AM
• Shopping Round 2: 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

Can’t make a drop-off time? No worries — you may also bring your items at the start of your shopping round. Volunteers will be available to collect and organize donations.

💛 A Few Important Notes
• Please arrive on time (you may arrive up to 15 minutes early).
• If you register, we ask that you make every effort to attend. Space is limited, and every participant helps make the exchange successful for everyone.
• This may not be a 1:1 exchange — you may leave with fewer or more items depending on available inventory. Either way, everyone will leave with something special!
• Any remaining items will be donated to Community Action House in Holland to support local families and individuals in need.
