On February 28, hundreds of Greater Moncton residents will bundle up, step into the cold, and walk in support of local youth facing hunger, hurt, and homelessness.The Moncton event begins and ends at The Atrium (22 Church Street), with participants choosing either a 2 km or 5 km route. Walkers can enjoy warm drinks at a rest stop along the way and celebrate together at the finish line. Participants who raise $150 (or $75 for youth) will receive the iconic CNOY toque.
This marks Youth Impact Jeunesse’s 13th year participating in the event, with a fundraising goal of $175,000. Organizers anticipate approximately 350 walkers across 60 teams.
