Sierra Marie Swan is an American singer-songwriter and solo artist known for her expressive voice and genre-blending alternative pop/rock. She began performing in Los Angeles coffeehouses as a teenager before co-founding the alternative electronic duo Dollshead in 1997, which released one album and toured before disbanding. After Dollshead, she worked with producers like Chad Hugo and contributed vocals to other artists before launching her solo career; her official debut Ladyland was released in 2006 with production by Linda Perry and featured a duet with Aimee Mann. Swan has since released multiple albums and EPs—including Queen of the Valley, Girl Who Cried Wolf, and Good Soldier (produced by Billy Corgan)—and continued to explore independent recording and collaborations. Throughout her career she’s toured and worked with artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Ringo Starr, and Frank Black, and remains active with new projects and EPs.
