About this Event
The Town of Cohasset has convened a Social Resilience Coalition, which includes social service providers, municipal staff, and other community partners, to explore the development of a community resilience hub that places social services at the center.
The Coalition is leading a community-based planning process to identify potential sites for a Community Social Resilience Hub that supports community members, coordinates connectivity and communication, distributes resources, and supports emergency management.

What is a resilience hub?
Resilience hubs are community-led and community serving places of belonging and collective care.
Often, they are physical buildings that are augmented to support community members, coordinate connectivity and communication, distribute resources, and increase adaptive capacity while enhancing quality of life.
Resilience hubs are designed to support emergency management as well as day-to-day resident needs.
They are centralized sources of information, support, and connection.
