THE COFOH GORE GALORE COSTUME EXTRAVAGANZA RETURNS TO THE 5th ANNUAL COLORADO FESTIVAL OF HORROR: MONSTERSColorado Festival of Horror (COFOH) is screaming for all horror Cosplayers to take part in their fifth COFOH Gore Galore Costume Extravaganza, centered on monsters and taking place on Saturday, September 13th at 6pm in at the Marriott Denver South at Park Meadows, 10345 Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree, Colorado.
Our contest allows local and visiting cosplayers to showcase their craftsmanship skills and character portrayals. A team of judges made up of local creatives will select the winners of this monstrous competition. Participation in the contest is open to all convention attendees with your valid convention badge.
Contestants can sign-up at Registration from Friday, September 12th at 3pm until Saturday, September 13th at 4pm.
RULES:
1) All cosplays should be in line with the Costume, Weapons, and Props Policy.
2) All costumes, no matter the genre, are welcome to participate in the cosplay contest. 1st-3rd place prizes will be reserved for the best HORROR-THEMED monster cosplays as chosen by the judges. Judges' Choice and Honorable Mention are open to everyone.
3) Criteria taken into account by judges includes, but is not limited to authenticity/originality, presentation, and detail.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Judges' Choice are provided by sponsor Unstable Culture! Plus sponsor Terror In the Corn will provide the 1st Place winner with 2 Platinum Passes to this year's big scare!
