Join us for a lively and inspiring morning inside Golden Belt’s working studios!“Coffee with the Artists” brings together conversation, creativity, and community — all under one roof.
Enjoy fresh coffee and Danish while you:
• Hear brief introductions from two resident artists
• Get the inside story of what inspires Christine Hager-Braun to create her meaningful and intricate Fiber Art.
• Experience a guided studio tour
• Explore open studios throughout the building
During her presentation Christine will share selected artworks and speak about the role creativity can play in supporting emotional well-being. Drawing on both personal stories as well as scientific research in the field of NeuroArts, she will discuss how creative practice nurtures resilience and connection. Attendees will also leave with practical ideas for using their own creativity to benefit their well-being.
A small fiber art piece will be given away to one guest at the end of the morning.
Admission is $6, which includes coffee, Danish, and entry into the original artwork drawing.
With 25 working artists in residence, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect more deeply with the people behind the art — to see works in progress, ask questions, and experience the creative process firsthand.
We look forward to welcoming you.
