Every second Thursday, we meet at a local café to listen, connect, and learn directly from Detroiters. Whether you have a specific issue you want help with, a story idea, or just want to stay informed — this space is for you.
People stop by for all kinds of reasons:

- To share what’s happening on their block
- To meet neighbors and connect with our reporters

We started Coffee Thursdays in 2023 with just a few people stopping in. Since then, it’s grown into a monthly ritual we look forward to — and a space shaped entirely by the people who show up.
