About this Event
Coffee Talks at 21c Museum Hotel St. Louis is a monthly conversation series that creates space for critical conversations around healing, justice, and community transformation in St. Louis.
This December, Coffee Talks partners with our Nonprofit of the Month: The Village Mentoring Program for a powerful community conversation focused on youth leadership, empowerment, and the future of St. Louis.
The topic, From Surviving to Thriving: What St. Louis Would Look Like if We Actually Invested in Youth Voice, invites attendees to imagine a city where young people are not just seen, but heard; not just supported, but given real power; not just surviving, but thriving. The Village Mentoring Program will help lead this discussion, sharing firsthand insight into how centering youth voice transforms families, schools, and communities.
Through storytelling, dialogue, and community reflection, this session will explore what systems could look like - education, public safety, economic mobility, mental health - if youth were truly at the table.
