Join us for an informal coffee morning hosted by SPACE – Support for Parents and Carers in Essex, a service dedicated to providing advice, guidance, and emotional support for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

What to Expect:
- Meet our Peer Educators – parents and carers with lived experience supporting children and young people with SEND.
- Hear a brief introduction to SPACE and the services we offer (5–10 minutes).
- Drop-in for an informal Q&A on any aspect of SEND – no question is too big or small!
- Access advice, guidance, and signposting to support services.
SPACE is open to all parents, carers, and families of people with SEND, of any age, regardless of diagnosis.
About SPACE:
SPACE is a new service designed to support families in Essex. We provide:
- One-to-One Support: Personal calls with our Peer Educators to discuss your concerns confidentially.
- Online Group Sessions: Webinars to share experiences, learn, and gain practical insights.
- Community Events: Local coffee mornings, school events, and SEND roadshows for advice and community support.
- Online Resources: Comprehensive guidance co-produced with families to help understand and support your child’s needs.
This is a drop-in session – no booking required. Just come along, enjoy a coffee and some cake, and connect with other families and our team.
