Hi everyone! I’m inviting you to a special collaboration between Traditional Tattoo ng Buscalan and this October 15-17, 2025, an opportunity to experience the traditional hand-tap tattoo of Buscalan, Kalinga, right in the city.
This event celebrates the rich cultural legacy of Apo Whang-Od, the iconic mambabatok of the Butbut tribe. Her grandchild, a trained and recognized mambabatok, will be with us to continue this sacred art and share its deep cultural meaning through authentic hand-tap tattooing.
For those who haven’t had the time or chance to travel and visit Apo Whang-Od in Buscalan, what are you waiting for? Tinta Buscalan is bringing the mambabatok to the city, offering you the chance to experience this traditional and historical tattoo practice up close.
💸 Registration Fee: ₱250 per person
– Inclusive of 1 free drink from our Espresso-based menu
