About this Event
This is a class for beginners to experts! Join us for a hands-on workshop into one of the coolest coffee brewing techniques around: the pourover.
We'll start with the most popular brewer (the V60) and brew up a few different coffees. We'll work with variables like grind size and water temperature to see how they bring out different flavors in coffee. We'll then move on to more complex brewers and let you play around.
Experimental Coffees
In addition to learning how to brew the perfect cup of coffee, we'll taste an assortment of coffees, from your classic medium-dark roast to cutting-edge experimental coffees. This part is often a highlight of our classes and many folks tell us they've never had coffees like the ones we try.
Who are we and why should you trust us to teach this class?

He also founded and runs Experimental Coffee Company (https://experimental.coffee/) alongside Sip Society (https://sipsociety.eventbrite.com/) as coffee companies focused on cutting-edge coffees and the education required to enjoy them. Matthew is a coffee professional with almost two decades of experience. As a co-founder of Sip Society, he brings passion, experience, and serious teaching prowess to the workshop. Join us!
