About this Event
Join us at The Coffee Roaster for a hands-on intro to the world of specialty coffee. In about an hour, you'll go behind the scenes of our roastery and learn how green coffee seeds become the beans in your morning cup. Then put your palate to the test with a guided tasting of coffees from around the world.
What's included:
- A guided tour of our roasting facility
- A walk through the "seed to cup" journey — from farm processing to roasting
- A guided tasting featuring a variety of origins, roast levels, and processing methods (plus one chosen by the group!)
- Your own tasting notes sheet to take home
- A free pour-over card to enjoy after class
Who it's for: Anyone curious about coffee, total beginners welcome. No prior knowledge needed, just a willingness to learn about and drink coffee.
Class size: 2–8 people, so you'll get plenty of personal attention.
Duration: Approximately 1 hour
After class, stick around for a pour-over on us and 15% off your first bag of beans.
