Coed Grass Doubles!!Date: Saturday, June 13

Location: Garner Park in Madison - Same field as the Garner league (cross streets are South Hill Dr and South Rosa Rd)
Parking: There is plenty of street parking around the area
Cost: $40/team
Level of play: We will have 3 divisions if there is enough interest - B/BB/A
Want to play some doubles? You don’t see it as often on grass…so let’s change that. Grab a partner and come play some coed doubles. Let’s have some fun!
Please sign up as a pair with no TBDs.
We won’t know how many nets are needed until we gauge interest, but if you have a net, and you’re willing to let us borrow it, please let us know!!
Goal is cash prize for winners, but tbd based on number of teams (and taking out field fees)
**Keep in mind these will be grass courts - so typical grass size.
Rules (Mainly following Waupaca Boatride grass triples rules):
- Tips: No open hand tips.
- Double Contact: Players may double contact any first ball over (including serves) provided the ball is not held.
- Players may also double contact on the second hit if the ball stays on your side of the net. (Please call yourself if it’s ugly - especially in A)
- First contact: Taking with hands is allowed.
- Let Serves: Let serves are NOT legal.
- Blocking: A block is not counted as a team hit.
- Setting Over: When the ball is set into the opponent's court, the setter's shoulders must be squared up (forwards or backwards) to the line of flight of the ball.
- Time Outs: Each team is allowed two 30 second timeouts per game.
- Side Changes: Up to the teams to decide, however switching is suggested every 7 points

- All disagreements are replayed
